That Burned Library

It is truly a tragedy that such a valuable record of Egypt and Egyptian history has been destroyed in the burning of the Institute de Egypte. Both sides are blaming each other though the army is in control and bares ultimate responsibility.

I seem to recall in the January revolution there was talk that the army used the Cairo museum to detain protesters and worse. In this case the military was in control of the institute and there is talk that the army was using the roof of the building to attack the crowd of protesters below.
